My name is Kalena. My husband John and I bought our 27ft Bayliner Treazure last June, 2007. It was Father's Day and we had been out for brunch, we wandered into Olympic Boats in Surrey with absolutely no intention of buying a boat. Four hours later, clutching our signed sales contract, a lifelong dream had been fulfilled. We were now BOAT OWNERS!
Boaters tend to be very generous people, generous with their help, their experience, and their knowledge. This is a thank you to a number of generous people. This blog is a reflection on knowledge learned, experience gained, and my thoughts on the boating life.
My aim is to provide a pleasant escape for fellow boaters and for boaters yet to be. Some blogs will be short, others will be longer including fairly detailed trip reports. Names will be dropped, people and wildlife photographed (the boating variety too), news and events given, mistakes and adventures chronicled. To share tips, trips, trials, and tribulations, and most importantly the joys of boating here in the Pacific Northwest, the most beautiful place on Earth!
